Moananui hosts Mission Insights
Interviews

Mission Insights is a series of video/podcast interviews which showcase the work of businesses in Te Tauihu on their journey to reduce carbon emissions.

Each episode is based around a specific theme and is hosted by a business expert. In the “Sustainability in the Blue Economy” episode, Moananui’s own Jodie Kuntzsch speaks with Ali Boswijk from the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce, and leads conversations with special guests Chris Cornelisen from the Cawthron Institute and Lauren Walker who leads Tasman Environmental Trust’s Core and Restore Blue Carbon project.

As she points out, “The oceans play a critical role in addressing climate change.” Although there are no quick-wins, “the key thing is to find partners that are willing to work on solutions together, because none of us have to deal with this on our own.”
