Moananui HQ was host to several hundred visitors as part of Seafood New Zealand's Seafood Saturday celebration. Our Blue Tech Showcase profiled the region's fast growing blue tech industry, key to supporting sustainable seafood production.

Partners SnapCore, Plant & Food Research, Cawthron Institute and Marine AI (NZ) were joined by Blake NZ-VR and the STEAM Aquabot programme from Nelson Intermediate school. There were VR headsets, underwater robots, a live 'control room', baby snapper, big buoys and research vessels.
